Plugin update​

There are several ways to update your plugin.

Please follow the process.

Upgrade plugin with FTP​

  • Login to Member Dashboard to download the latest plugin zip.
  • Extract the latest plugin zip on your local computer.
  • Connect to your server via FTP
  • Go to /wp-content/plugins folder.
  • Rename the old plugin. For example, chawkbazar-helper_old for chawkbazar-helper plugin.
  • Upload the latest plugin from your local computer to /wp-content/plugins directory.
  • Check everything work fine in new plugin.
  • Remove the old plugin.

Update plugin with dashboard​

You have to delete the old plugin. If you have not customized the plugin, use this method.

  • Login to WordPress Dashboard.
  • Navigate to Plugins->Installed Plugins find (Chawkbazar Theme Helper) now (Deactivate) it.
  • Navigate to Plugins->Installed Plugins find (Chawkbazar Theme Helper) now (Delete) it.
  • Navigate to Plugins->Add New->Upload Plugin.
  • Upload the latest plugin according to above Update plugin with the dashboard.
  • Activate the latest plugin.
